The primary purpose of the Professional and Technical List is to provide instruction and training in maritime and other skills to further the aims of the Service. Members are expected to attend training nights, courses and exercises as agreed with their Head of Unit and are asked to sign a volunteer agreement.
Although no grade is held, List B members wear MVS uniform with distinctive epaulettes.
The annual subscription of £20.00, includes MVS personal accident insurance.

List O: Operational Support

List O members wear uniform and the distinctive OS badges.
The annual subscription of £16.00 includes appropriate MVS personal accident insurance.

List S: Unit Friends & Supporters
